Police are looking for a man who shouted racist abuse at two children as they were walking to school.
The incident is being treated as a hate crime.
The teenagers were verbally abused on Vauxhall Street just before 8 o'clock on Tuesday morning.
The man is described as being white, in his 30s, with dreadlocks and wearing a high-vis vest.
He was with two other men and a dog.
Officers want to hear from a woman walking nearby at the time who was also the victim of racial abuse.
Anyone with information is asked to call 612612 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
