Jersey Police are supporting a global campaign to raise awareness of domestic abuse.
It's called '16 Days of Action Against Domestic Violence'.
Different aspects of domestic abuse will be highlighted on social media - including subjects such as mental health, abuse of the elderly, LGBT violence and stalking.
Jersey Police will also be telling people where they can get help - whether that be for themselves, friends or family members.
Officers respond to around 1,000 domestic abuse incidents every year.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Beechey says it's important for the force to do everything it can to remind people of the suffering that domestic abuse causes.
"Domestic abuse continues to impact significantly upon many members of our community and we need to continue to work together to ensure that no-one feels that they are beyond help."
Reports of domestic abuse increase over the festive period.
During December a dedicated domestic abuse support unit will be on hand to assist uniformed officers at every incident they are called to attend. Police say the aim is to 'maximise a positive outcome' for the victim.
