Two men have been arrested after what police have described as a violent attack in St Helier.
One of two men involved in the fight on Mulcaster Street was using a pole as a weapon.
It happened after 10pm on Friday 5th October following an argument between three men and two women on King Street, which then carried on into the Royal Square.
Police say there was an alleged assault near the Royal Court entrance and then an ‘aggressive’ assault outside Barclays Bank on Library Place.
The two men, aged 24 and 27, were arrested after the attack on Mulcaster Street.
They were later released on bail.
Officers want anyone who saw these assaults to call 612612 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at Crimestoppers-uk.org
