A man was injured after being hit by a taxi as he crossed St John’s Main Road.
Police want to speak to the passenger who was in the taxi at the time.
A 23-year-old man was treated in hospital after being knocked to the ground by a Silver Toyota Prius on La Grande Route de St Jean, near the St Helier Parish nurseries.
The driver left the scene before police and paramedics arrived, but returned a short time later and was spoken to.
Officers want to speak to the passenger in the taxi at the time of the collision.
The man – described as being around 50 – was taken from the Weighbridge to St John’s Church at around 2:30am on Saturday morning.
The injured man was later discharged from hospital.
