Prison officers have begun their charity 'Around the clock, around the Fence' challenge as part of Prison Week.
As part of Prison Week 2025, prison officers will be walking or running for 24 hours today.
They will lap the fences to symbolise the 24-hour service that runs all day, each and every day of the year.
The team began their 'Around the clock, around the Fence' challenge at 5.45 am this morning and won't finish until the same time tomorrow.
Once completed, a lap of honour will be run in memory, reflection and remembrance of two prison officers who passed away during their service.
The challenge is in aid of charity Brighter Futures.
