Nine year old Scott Freer's artwork is being auctioned to raise money for Mind Jersey.
The Year five Mont Nicolle pupil is part of JARO Gallery's newest exhibition IMpractical.
The exhibition features the work of internationally-recognised artist Abi Overland, and is a journey into the 'surreal and the fantastical.'
Scott's mum, Dora Freer said: "Scott loves drawing and he has been expressing himself through drawing since he was little. This year I introduced him to acrylics, which he embraced with a passion.
"The richness, the depth of the colours, and the textures he could create thrilled him and he threw all his passion, emotions and creativity into painting.
"Scott cares about the world around him and he wanted to use these paintings to achieve something for the greater good. Mind Jersey is a great charity and the fact that they provide for children makes it more meaningful for Scott."
Scott uses his work to express himself, so wants them to raise money for a Jersey mental health charity.
Scott told Channel 103: "The charity that I'm helping, Mind Jersey, helps children increase confidence in themselves and how they think about themselves. I thought to myself and then said to my mum: 'I want to help children with these paintings."
Scott says he has experienced difficult feelings himself, and wanted to help other children who are struggling.
"Last year I felt not much confidence in myself and I felt really anxious, I didn't think good about myself or positive"
One of the paintings, Volcano (pictured centre), he said he used to express feelings of frustration.
You can see Scott's paintings here, which will be on sale until 30 September.
Those interested in bidding can email Amy Hall on: a.hall@mindjersey.org.
IMpractical is running from Saturday 14 September to Saturday 12 October.
It is open Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am - 3.00pm.
