A new petition has been launched to repair and maintain the Victoria Marine Lake.
The future of the historic site is uncertain, with the Infrastructure Minister saying all options are on the table, including demolition.
A child escaped with minor injuries after being swept through a gap in the seawall last month, prompting warnings not to swim in, enter, or walk around the structure.

Petition author, Shane Carson, said:
"Restoring the pool would preserve a vital piece of Jersey’s heritage while promoting health, leisure, and tourism."
The lake was reopened in 2014 after a £300,000 restoration, but it wasn't well-used, mainly due to persistent issues with sea lettuce.
