The government has confirmed that the majority of island schools will close next Tuesday (26th March) because of teacher strike action.
Members of the NASUWT will walkout in protest against the pay offers from the States.
La Moye and St John primary schools will be open, because they have the fewest NASUWT members so cover can be found.
Les Quennevais Secondary school will close to Years 7 to 9 and La Sente will close to Key Stages 2 and 3.
All other secondary and primary schools will be shut.
