Jersey Fire and Rescue were called to an incident at Grosnez, after someone became stuck on the rocks near the headland.
Jersey Fire and Rescue were called to Grosnez at 11:00 am on 31 August.
A member of the public had contacted the police about a person seemingly stuck on rocks and unable to get back up to the headland.
Police informed the rescue service.
They responded with the Rope Rescue Team, 10 personnel from Green Watch in one Fire Engine, the Rescue Unit, and an All-Terrain Vehicle.
The Duty Station Commander also responded.
Due to the difficult position and complex nature of the incident, several other agencies were requested to attend to assist. This included Jersey Coastguard, the Honorary Police, the SoJ Ambulance Service, and the RNLI.
Once the casualty had been assessed by the attending paramedic, the casualty was brought up the cliffside in a basket stretcher before being carried to the waiting ambulance and transported to the hospital.
Station Commander Mark Bailey-Walker says it was a complex operation.
"The rescue took almost two hours from the first phone call to the casualty being handed over to paramedics.
"Multi-agency collaborative working was essential to the safe and successful resolution of this incident."
