Let's Rock festival heading to Jersey this September

Let's Rock is part of a two nights of live music organised by the Weekender team

One of the UK's biggest and best-loved 80s music festivals is coming to Jersey for the very first time later this summer.

The hugely popular Let's Rock festival will arrive at People's Park on Saturday 12th September, as part of the Weekender series, promising a full day of live music, nostalgia and feel-good entertainment.

It is the second of the two-day Weekender Presents series of concerts, following Alex James Britpop Classical on Friday 11th September

Over the years, Let's Rock has welcomed some of the biggest stars of the decade, with artists including Rick Astley, The Human League, Belinda Carlisle and Jason Donovan performing at events across the UK.

The festival has become famous for its electric atmosphere, with thousands of music fans embracing the spirit of the 80s by dressing in neon colours, shell suits, shoulder pads and other retro fancy dress.

Organisers say the Jersey event - billed as Weekender presents Let's Rock Jersey - will feature a spectacular line-up of iconic 80s artists, alongside food and drink stalls and entertainment throughout the day.

Since launching in 2009, Let's Rock has grown into one of Britain's most successful retro music festivals, attracting tens of thousands of fans each year.

The full line-up for Jersey's inaugural Let's Rock festival will be revealed by Dan Mills on Channel 103 Breakfast just after 8am on Monday, with tickets now on sale here.
