July Was Sunniest Month On Record!

Last month was the sunniest in Jersey since records began in 1925!

Nearly 374 hours of sunshine were recorded - 110 more than the average.

It's the equal 5th warmest and 6th driest July since 1894.

It was also the driest July since 1996, with only six days of measurable rainfall. A meteorological drought was also recorded in mid-July after 15 consecutive dry days.

36°C was recorded at the airport on 23rd July, the equal highest temperature on record.
