Jet2 increases capacity to Jersey by 140% for summer 2027

Jet2 has announced new routes, additional capacity, and an extended season for next summer.

The airline has introduced flights and holidays from Birmingham, three times a week, and Bristol twice.

In addition to the new routes, extra capacity to Jersey has been added from Manchester.

The summer season has also been extended, meaning it will operate flights to Jersey right through to the end of October.

With 15 weekly flights during peak periods, 120,000 seats are on sale between Jersey and the UK for the summer.

The airline says the changes mean capacity to Jersey will increase by over 140% for the period, compared to summer 2026.

Tricia Warwick, Chief Executive of Visit Jersey, has said it's a 'vote of confidence' in the island as a destination.

Matt Thomas, Chief Executive of Ports of Jersey, said:

“Increased capacity and a longer season deliver greater choice and improved connectivity.

"It’s a great boost for our tourism industry, making Jersey more accessible to key UK markets and providing more flexibility for Islanders.”
