Events are taking place across the island today to mark World Oceans Day.
It's the yearly celebration of the planet's seas, which this year is focusing on the theme of 'Blue Mind'.
Jane Burns, from the government's EcoActive team, explains the theory:
"The Blue Mind concept believes being near, in, on or under water can make you happier, healthier and more connected, will resonate with islanders who enjoy such close proximity to the sea.
"This World Oceans Day we want to encourage people to enjoy the programme of activities on offer while being mindful for the need to help protect our ocean environment."
Events like marine activities, art exhibitions, and talks are taking place at various locations around the island.
