Jersey finished day three of competition at the Island Games in Orkney second in the medals table.

Among the first place finishers were the men's mountain bike criterium team of Liam Cardoret, Jay Cracknell, James Dilks, Jacob Mauger and Ben Richards getting gold for Jersey, with individual bronze for James Dilks.

Michael Rive took first place on the podium in the Lawn Bowls men's singles, while there was bronze for Josh Band and Kevin Le Long in the pairs.

In athletics, Ted Chamberlain won the 1500m, and Daniel Dubras achieved silver in the javelin.

The archery mixed team knockouts did Jersey well, with Fredrick Crosby and Mollie Perrett bringing home recurve gold. This is Mollie's second golden souvenir from the Games after winning the Single WA 1440 Women's Recurve on Tuesday.

Hannah Bridle and Francisco Rocha won silver in the Mixed Compound Team Knockouts.

There was more swimming success, not least for Filip Nowacki who doubled his individual gold haul to four by winning the 100m butterfly as well as the 50m breaststroke, setting another new Island Games record.

Another Games record fell when Clara Ginnis won gold in the women's 1500m freestyle, with Jersey's Hannah Sterry coming second and taking silver.

There was another 1-2 for Jersey in the men's 400m individual medley, with gold for Sam Sterry and silver for Isaac Dodds.

The men's 4x50 freestyle relay team took bronze.

Jersey's women footballers are out of the competition despite a 4-0 win over Isle of Wight because of other results going against them.

Better fortunes for the men's side whose 2-2 draw with Shetland was enough to earn them a semi finals place as group winners.

Jersey finished day 3 second in the  medals table on 15 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze.

Events from Orkney are being livestreamed via the Orkney2025 website, where you will also find the full results service and competition schedule.
