Today marks 100 years since the end of the First World War, and remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Services are taking place across Jersey for Remembrance Sunday.
Church rectors are leading acts of remembrance at each of the parish war memorials.
At the Town Cenotaph on the parade war veterans will be joined by island dignitaries to lay wreaths and observe the national two-minute silence at 11 o’clock.
Later, The Royal British Legion motorcycle riders will tour the island lighting a candle at each parish war monument.
The flame will finish the day at Les Landes where one of a thousand beacons across the island will be lit in a special Beacon of Light Ceremony open to the public from 5:30pm.
It’s one of a thousand across the British Isles to signify the end of the centenary commemorations.
