The Hive brings foster families together into small, connected groups so carers have shared support, guidance, and a stronger sense of community.
It places an experienced hub home carer at the centre, who will support and guide the wider family of foster carers around them.
They will organise regular social activities, coffee mornings and training sessions.
The model hopes to see a small group of fostering households come together build trusted relationships over time.
It hopes that children and carers get to know each other, creating a consistent and familiar group that offers reassurance and support.
Each carer plays an important role, with shared responsibility and care at the heart of the model.
