The jury in the Haut du Mont trial has retired to consider its verdicts.
Over the last five-and-a-half weeks, the trial has examined the circumstances surrounding the fatal explosion in St Helier on 10 December 2022, which killed ten residents.
Three gas workers - Neil Armstrong, John Wright, and Lee Ward - deny gross negligence manslaughter, while Island Energy has pleaded not guilty to breaches of the health and safety law.
In his summing up, Commissioner Andrew Oldland said a cool, clear, calm, and dispassionate review of the evidence is needed.
The presiding judge told the jury:
"It's important you put all feelings of sympathy aside - feelings of sympathy should form no part of the assessment of evidence."
He also instructed the jury to reach unanimous verdicts.
The jury retired at 10:41am today (15 October).
