A 14 year old girl has been flown to Southampton Hospital with serious head injuries following a collision in St Brelade.
It happened on Route des Genets just after 5pm on Wednesday (1 April).
The 70 year old driver of a grey Honda CRV was uninjured.
A 14 year old pedestrian, who was visiting the island from France, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Jersey’s General Hospital by paramedics.
She was urgently transferred to the UK for treatment. Her condition is described as serious but stable.
The road was closed until 9pm.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage.
It is believed the car had been travelling eastbound towards St Aubin.
