The Jersey feature sold for £900 this week at auction, raising money for animal charities.
It's unknown who bought the 6ft Merrythought Bear - for more than five times the original listing price - and also unknown where it will appear next.
After originally retailed by Harrods of London, it stood at Fort Regent as a nostalgic feature of the leisure centre, before being donated to Jersey Paws Fundraising.
It was put under the hammer to raise funds towards the costs of Jersey Rescue Dogs.
The charity is completely run by volunteers, so a portion of the money goes directly to vet bills, kennels, and transport.
It was originally listed with an estimated price of £100 to £150.
