A flotilla of more than 100 boats has paraded across St Aubin's Bay to celebrate 200 years of the RNLI.
The spectacle on the sea was organised to pay tribute to the volunteers crews and their service to Jersey in the lifesaving charity's landmark anniversary year.
The flotilla set out at 6.30pm, and was made up of vessels from St Helier Yacht Club, The Jersey Rowing Club, the island's fishing fleet, Ports of Jersey as well as emergency services crews.
Boats were spotted sailing across St Aubin's Bay towards West Park, before being greeted by crowds at St Helier Harbour.
David de Carteret from the yacht club says it was an honour to take part:
"We have great respect for the RNLI. They have done a fantastic job for Jersey over a long period of time.
"Of course, we all hope that we won't need their services, but we almost expect that we might one day, so it important that they are successful and that they continue to look after us in the wonderful way that they have over many years."
