Finistair delivers direct flights to Alderney and France

Finistair is flying directly from Jersey to Brest, France, and Alderney for summer 2025.

The regional airline, based in Brittany, is launching new services between the three neighbouring regions, from £47 to Brest and £75 to Alderney.

Flights commence on 27 June 2025 and continue until the end of August, running every Friday and Sunday.

Passengers will be on the flights no longer than 35 minutes to France and only 15 minutes to Alderney.

Jersey’s Minister for Sustainable Economic Development, Deputy Kirsten Morel, says the government is invested in this trial to help us assess the appetite for a longer-term service between the islands and France.

"We hope it will boost both cultural and economic connections with our near neighbours.

"I’m pleased that we are improving our air-route connectivity, enabling Islanders to reach both Alderney and Brest throughout the summer while also attracting new visitors to Jersey."

The summer route trail is part of a partnership between Ports of Jersey, the Government of Jersey and the States of Alderney.

Alderney's Chair of Economic Development Committee, Stuart Clark, says they are delighted that an air link has been established between Alderney and Brest via Jersey.

"Alongside the recent launch of other interisland transport links, this trial air link from Finistair could also prove vital in demonstrating the demand for regional connectivity too, and we are looking to see what opportunities this may afford in the future."
