A week on from Storm Goretti, the Channel Islands are getting more bad weather with rain likely to be the issue this time.
Forecasters are predicting between 20 - 30 millimetres will fall on the islands on Thursday (15 January).
The islands typically get between 90 and 100 mm in an average January.
Senior Forecaster, Matt Winter, says it will be a miserable day, but the chance of flooding causing significant disruption is slim.
"It's quite a lot of rain to fall in a short period of time, but most of the rain is falling steadily through the day. It's not going to fall within a two or three hour period, which is normally when we see some issues with flooding.
"There is very likely to be some big puddles around, potentially some surface water lying on the roads and low-lying areas."
This weather system follows the first named storm of the year seven days ago - Goretti - which battered Jersey and Guernsey with winds reaching 95 miles and hour.
It brought down hundreds of trees and damaged numerous properties, with Guernsey hit hardest. The clean up is ongoing.
Though today's conditions are described as a 'run of the mill winter depression', the strong winds, up to force 7 with gusts to 45 mph for a time could be enough to bring down already weakened branches.
Guernsey's States has advised people to take extra care.
