Jersey Bulls has confirmed that Springfield Stadium will host two pre-season friendlies this summer, despite ongoing work to redevelop the stadium.
The club will take on Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday 11 July, and Dorking Wanderers on Friday 17 July.
The Government of Jersey announced last month that refurbishment and upgrade works would take place between June and September to maintain the ongoing operation of the stadium, and that grandstand seating and the pitch would close for the duration of the project.
However, Jersey Bulls say through 'positive and constructive dialogue', arrangements have been made to allow the club to continue training and playing matches while the works progress.
Chairman Adam Budworth said:
"These fixtures are an important part of our preparations for the new season and we are grateful to everyone who has worked with us to make them possible.
"The redevelopment of Springfield is an exciting project for Jersey football and, throughout the process, we have appreciated the willingness of Jersey Property Holdings, Government officers and contractors to work collaboratively with the club.
"Their support has helped ensure that the Bulls can continue operating effectively while improvements are being delivered to the Island's premier football venue."
