Books are being hidden around the island.
Three local women have been inspired by similar book-sharing schemes in the UK, and have set up a Jersey version.
Mums Becky Robertson and Rebecca Emily Bennett and childminder Helen Treby have set up the Facebook group 'Hidden Books on the Rock'
More than 1,100 people have joined in the first few days.
The idea works by 'hiders' putting a book and a message into a waterproof cover and leaving it in a public place - such as a park, on a bench or at a bus stop.
They are then posting a photo and clue to the social media page for others to find.
'Seekers' who find a book can either read it and re-hide it, or keep it and hide a different book in its place or at another location.

Another group, formed by islander Sarah Le Masurier last month called 'Jersey Look for a Book' has more 200 members.
