Exhibitors have proposed proceeding with the 2025 Battle of Flowers away from the main company if it decides to have a 'fallow year'.
Chairperson, Russell Labey, suggested having a year off while finances are sorted and apologised for the position the company is in.
Islanders saw the accounts for the first time at the AGM on 24 February, after the reported loss of around £150,000 in 2024.

Members of the association do not want to see Battle put on hold this year, with Grouville's Martyn Maguire saying they are keen to make a traditional version of the event happen.
"We've started our build, we've got sponsors in line and we've got our team of people.
"If we end up with a fallow year, from an exhibitor's perspective, from Grouville's perspective, we definitely want Battle to go ahead.

Mr Maguire says not much will change, other than returning to 'how it used to be'.
"We are proposing to put on a traditional Battle of Flowers this year with the usual day parade, night parade and a finale.
"The public wouldn't really notice a difference, it's just being organised by the existing exhibitors, rather than the board of directors."
It is suggested the next AGM be held within a couple of weeks, as members did not get into discussions during the last meeting.
