Incoming passengers to Jersey are describing scenes 'of chaos' at the airport this afternoon (27 August), as the busy Bank Holiday period gets underway.
People are waiting more than an hour in long queues in arrivals to get to the testing area.
One person has told Channel 103 that no one is manning the queues, no staff are available to ask or help, and people are trying to get their bags and find the queue all in the same area.
Jersey Airport has posted on social media to say bank holiday weekends are always busy at the airport, and to allow plenty of time for your journey.

A Ports of Jersey spokesperson says while there was a need for them to collect luggage, due to the sheer volume of passengers, the baggaga area was cleared in around an hour.
They added that staff were on hand to manage the queues and the Covid testing centre was fully resourced.
Fully vaccinated people coming into Jersey who want to avoid self-isolation have to sign up to the arrivals PCR testing programme.
All direct arrivals from red-list countries have to isolate for ten days.
