2027 DFDS schedule details confirmed

The 2027 DFDS schedules have been confirmed.

Bookings for Poole and St Malo services will open on Thursday 8 October, with bookings for Portsmouth opening on Thursday 15 October.

The ferry operator is expanding its Poole service for next year, starting a month earlier and providing 50 more sailings throughout the season.

The direct service will begin on 24 March, compared to 1 May this year.

It will operate 130 return rotations between Jersey and Poole in 2027, compared to 105 this year.

Chris Parker, Route Director for Jersey at DFDS, said:

"We have used what we have learned during 2026, together with feedback from our customers, to shape our services for next year.

"One of the biggest changes is starting the Poole service more than a month earlier. This means Islanders will have high-speed direct connections to both the UK and France over Easter, while the additional Poole sailings and increased summer capacity will provide greater choice during some of the busiest periods of the year."

The operator says its St Malo timetable has also been refined for 2027 'to better reflect passenger demand', with additional capacity during April and improvements to scheduled journey times.

The 2027 season will also see Corbière Seaways operate a direct service between Jersey and Portsmouth, after DFDS’ bought the former Stena Vinga, which had previously been chartered to operate the route.

From January, the number of pet-friendly cabins aboard Corbière Seaways will double from four to eight.

Mr Parker added:

"There is a lot to look forward to in 2027. We are adding capacity where we are seeing demand, starting our UK high-speed service considerably earlier and continuing to invest in the vessels and products serving Jersey.

"Together with the direct Portsmouth service provided by Corbière Seaways, these changes reflect our long-term commitment to the Island and our confidence in the future of Jersey’s sea links.

"We want to continue growing both passenger and freight traffic and will work closely with our partners on and off the Island to encourage more visitors to Jersey and support the wider visitor economy."
