A 39-year-old woman has died, police say, after all emergency services were called to Vazon Bay this morning.
This morning (8 December), a woman was identified as being unconscious in the water off the coast of Vazon Bay.
Guernsey's two lifeboats were joined by Air Search and all three emergency services, who were deployed to Fort Hommet headland.
Guernsey Police say she was given immediate medical attention on the beach before being transported to hospital, where she has since passed away.
It says officers are now working with the woman’s family to support them, and would like to express their 'condolences' to them at 'this very sad and difficult time.'
