Guernsey Police have arrested six youngsters after two separate fights at Cambridge Park.
Four of the arrests are in connection with an assault at the Skate Park at Beau Sejour the afternoon of Sunday 22 May.
Two were in connection with a fight at Cambridge Park a few days later (25 May)
Police say their action is proportionate, given the incidents of anti social behaviour over the past month.
Four arrests were made following a brawl on the eve of Liberation Day at La Mare de Carteret playing field. Parents were asked to collect their children after around 200 gathered to watch a series of fights, believed to have been arranged on social media.
The force says it is working with other agencies to tackle the behaviour of a few youngsters which has led to assaults, injuries and intimidation.
It is thanking licensed premises and off-licences for stepping up supervision and security to reduce alcohol consumption by under 18s.
"It is important to continue to stress that these issues are only arising because of a small minority of young people. We would also continue to urge parents to take reasonable steps to know where their children are, who they are with, and what they are doing, and to contact Guernsey Police if they ever feel it necessary." - Guernsey Police statement.
