Lucy Beere's Silver Commonwealth Games medal is marked by a crochet topper in Market Square.
Guernsey crochet artist Tamara O'Brien wanted to honour Lucy Beer's Commonwealth Games Silver medal, so she got knitting quickly.
Lucy took runner up in the Womens' Singles Lawn Bowls on Tuesday evening (2) August.
It was Guernsey's first medal in the Games in 28 years.
Her employer, and Guernsey's senior politician, deputy Peter Ferbrache was thrilled with her result:
"What a remarkable achievement for our Lucy. I have worked with her for years and know what a great competitor, and lovely person, she is. We are all so proud. Magnificent."
Tamara O'Brien has created a number of postbox toppers, including the large design celebrating the Platinum Jubilee on the box near the Albion pub in St Peter Port.
