A man's body has been retrieved from the water near Havelet.
Guernsey Police officers were alerted earlier today.
Formal identification is awaited, but the family of Matthew Bourgaize have been informed.
The 29-year-old went missing on 11 January and was last seen leaving the Oberlands Centre on the grounds of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
A further announcement is due 'in the coming days'.
