No arrivals classified as 'blue' will have to take a set of lateral flow tests when arriving into the Bailiwick from 20 October.
Anyone coming from the UK, Jersey, Ireland and and the Isle of Man will be able to go straight through border control without purchasing Covid-19 tests or proving their vaccination status.
At the moment, all so-called Blue Channelers have to buy a pack of five LFTs to be taken every other day on arrival.
However, the Civil Contingencies Authority says the decision to remove this requirement could be reversed if "the situation seriously deteriorates" before 20 October.
Officials have reviewed and announced this decision earlier than planned to allow people to plan travel in plenty of time, with the half-term school holidays approaching.
No changes are being made to testing requirements for people arriving from countries on the 'Red' list or for other countries around the world. They will still be required to take PCR tests.
From 4 October, the Bailiwick's rules will change to align more closely with those of the UK.
