Island FM delivers more listeners and biggest market share in British Isles

The latest radio listening figures show Guernsey’s Island FM grow average listening hours by a huge 46% compared to last quarter.

The latest radio listening figures see Guernsey’s number one station Island FM increase its weekly audience to the highest level since the pandemic
The station’s market share has grown to a huge 40.2% of all radio listening.

Tindle Radio stations now reach 78,800 weekly listeners across the Channel Islands – 54% of the islands’ population and a 5% year-on-year increase.

The latest RAJAR* radio listening figures for Q1 2025 published today see Island FM in Guernsey grow its weekly audience to 31,000 adults –  the highest since 2020 and an 18% year-on-year increase.
 
The growth in weekly listeners has powered Island FM’s market share to a stellar 40.2% - the biggest of any station - BBC or commercial - in the British Isles.

Across the water, sister station Channel 103 in Jersey has maintained its market leadership and grown its weekly listening hours to 8.3 person and market share to 24.8% . 54 % of the island’s population now tune in every week - the highest reach percentage of any station in RAJAR survey.
