Islanders are invited to paint, draw or photograph trees that are either beautiful or hold special personal meaning.
Art for Guernsey is launching a community art project this summer, celebrating the island's trees.
The exhibition titled "Guernsey’s iconic trees" will run at the Mansell Street gallery from September to October and will feature paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, textiles and mixed media.
Artists must submit their work to the gallery by midday on 21 August with a £10 entry fee.
Money raised will support Art for Guernsey's community and education projects.
Unless agreed otherwise, all artworks will be available to buy.
Founder and Chairman of Art for Guernsey, David Ummels, says he is looking forward to seeing the range of creative entries.
“Over the last 10 years, we have tirelessly celebrated the landscapes and seascapes of Guernsey, and the very special sources of inspiration that the island never fails to provide.
"For a few years, we have been thinking about shining a light on Guernsey’s trees.
"We don’t have that many, but some of those we have are truly magnificent.
"As we have observed how dear they are to islanders, we felt that it would be a good subject for a show, and we are delighted to bring that to fruition in September.”
