Young Guernsey footballers competed in the Bordeaux Ocean Cup over the Easter weekend.
Ex-GFC player Ryan-Zico Black, who now runs a local football academy, took two teams to France over the Easter weekend.
The under-12s (born 2013-2014) finished 3rd in their group, while the under-10s (born 2015-2016) got through to the finals and lifted the trophy.
Ryan-Zico Black says Guernsey is full of young football talent.
"Playing competitions at this age just gives them the hunger and desire to do more.
"The boys were so delighted and proud, they were singing and celebrating, supporting each other, it was really nice.
"The win is the icing on the cake, but the way they conducted themselves while away, they stayed together as a team, showed good respect to the opposition and officials there - I was very proud of that."
