The States' Better Life Indicators report places Guernsey 4th out of 39 countries.
The average life expectancy for Guernsey residents is 83.4 years.
The report calculated this from a three-year rolling average.
It lists factors generally associated with high living standards, such as the quality of sanitation, diet, health care, working conditions and community support services.
People are living slightly longer in Switzerland, South Korea and Japan.
Guernsey's average life expectancy has remained fairly stable in the last decade.
