FlyDirect has announced its Gran Canaria winter sun programme.
An Airbus A220-300 will transfer hundreds of passengers between Guernsey and Las Palmas Airport this winter.
The 4-hour flights will take off on Tuesdays from 23 December 2025 to 27 January 2026.
The island is situated off the west coast of North Africa, resulting in a hot and dry climate throughout most of the year.
C.I. Travel Group’s Managing Director, Robert Mackenzie, says more direct destination choices are good for Guernsey residents.
“For several years, we have been operating a programme to the Canary Islands from Jersey & the Isle of Man.
"It now gives us enormous pleasure to announce that, for the first time ever, we will be offering direct flights from Guernsey.
“It is also exciting to be offering Gran Canaria as a new destination exclusively from Guernsey – an island that has so much to offer in terms of scenery and accommodation choices.”
Tickets will go on sale later this week.
