Jersey Privateers Open Day

Designed for both newcomers and seasoned hobbyists, the event invites the local community to explore wargaming, role-playing, board games and miniature painting in a welcoming, inclusive setting.

The Open Day features hands-on learn-to-play sessions, display dioramas showcasing custom terrain builds, and a dedicated miniature painting station where visitors can paint and take home their very first miniature free of charge. Admission is completely free, with under-16s accompanied by an adult.

Beyond the games themselves, the club aims to highlight the wider social and mental health benefits of face-to-face tabletop gaming. In an increasingly digital world, hobby gaming offers structured, screen-free social interaction, creative expression through painting and crafting, and a supportive environment to build meaningful local friendships.
