The Guernsey Club de Petanque is holding its annual Open Competition over the weekend of the 5th/6th and 7th September at its premises in St Andrews.
Teams from Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney and the UK are registered to take part.
Spectators and anyone interested in taking up the sport are welcome on all three days to watch the games and to discover the facilities that the club has to offer, with plenty of parking available and toilet facilities on site.
Friday hosts the Singles from 12pm, the Saturday Doubles commences at 9am with the finals in all sections expected at around 4pm. And 24 Triples teams will compete on the Sunday, which also starts at 9am and finals also expected at about 4pm.
