Democracy Week: Public tour of the States Chamber

Want to understand more about Jersey’s political system and how it works?

Members of the public are invited to a free guided tour of the States Chamber, offering an exciting opportunity to explore the heart of Jersey’s democracy.

This informative behind-the-scenes tour will enable you to discover how our elected parliament works, the history that shaped it and how decisions are made that impact every day life in our Island.

With a newly elected States Assembly, this is the perfect time to learn more about Jersey’s electoral process. There is an opportunity to meet some States Members and you might get to see the Royal Mace!

The tour is an hour long, with the opportunity to ask questions throughout.

The tour will meet outside the States Members’ entrance of the States Assembly building in the Royal Square just before 12:00pm.
