A week challenging all islanders to ditch the car and travel by bike, bus or foot. This year Better Journeys Weeks will be from 18th to 22nd May 2026.

We invite you to join us from 18th to 22nd May in challenging ourselves to avoid using a car for a week to see how much easier and better it is to travel by bike, foot or bus.
Please share your selfies and this year we would love to see how all islanders are connection, both with each other and the world around them during their commutes and taking part in Better Journeys Week. We'd especially love to see selfies of anyone travelling with a friend or helping out someone learning a new commute.
